With the Acadia, you have a variety of engines to consider. First of all, the base SL comes with a 2.5-liter engine that produces 193 hp and 188 lb-ft of torque. The engine is available in front-wheel drive. For the SLE trim, you get a turbocharged 2.0-liter that produces 230 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The 2020 Chevrolet Equinox comes in four unique trim levels: L, LS, LT, and Premier.

The L trim provides a 7-inch touchscreen, automatic headlights, keyless entry and ignition, automatic high-beam control, forward collision warning, heated mirrors, a six-speaker audio system, height-adjustable front seats, 4G LTE connectivity, LED daytime running lights, OnStar, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, lane departure warning and mitigation, a rearview camera, pedestrian detection, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and more.

The LS offers the same features as the base L, but the LS Convenience package allows you to add a rear privacy glass and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.

The LT trim comes with xenon headlights, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, auxiliary rear-seat release levers, an upgraded information display, satellite radio, and more.

The top trim, the Premier, gets you a hands-free liftgate, LED headlights and taillights, driver-seat memory functions, wireless device charging, and more.

As far as engine options go, the standard option is a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder that generates 170 hp and 203 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. You can also choose a more powerful turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that delivers 252 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Although front-wheel drive is standard, drivers have the option of choosing all-wheel drive for all trims except the base L.
